Goal of the season

Whilst in Banff I discovered that I had won the goal of the season award as voted by my fellow teammates at UWE Dynamos in Bristol. This goal was scored from outside the box in the closing minutes of the game when we were only winning 1-0 and needed another goal to close the game.

So I popped up on the edge of the box running to receive a bobbing pass, Rooney style, and simply hit the ball as hard as I could... the ball looped up and over everyone and went straight into the corner of the goal leaving the goalkeeper stranded in midair!!!! Glorious!!!!

Thanks lads, and well done Simon for winning player of the season, richly deserved!!
