23rd Birthday!

1983 was a great year (not that I can remember much of it!), but because Billie Jean - the ultimate jiving tune was released by Michael Jackson and has made every night out far better just for its mere existence!

And of course, on the 13th July 1983 little Adrian was born into this world and it has been a little while since!





And now, the weekend before my 23rd birthday I decided to head down to London and catch up with my bro Charlie and a few mates from Uni in the delightful Covent Garden. We all sampled some brilliant Brazilian food and then moved on to a bar or two...





And at one of the bars a girl approached me (as they do!) and asked me if I wanted a massage! Apparently this is quite common in London which makes me think I should head down there more often!



I joked around a bit saying that I had a sore neck, but she was being serious! Luckily my friends saw sense and decided to chip in and pay a small sum for the 15 minute massage as part of my birthday present!



It was fantastic, my tense shoulders lightened up for the first time in 23 years while she reinvigorated my back with quite a firm but comfortable technique. This was something the intrepid explorer had not experienced on his travels, he had no such luxury.

As I sat there she glided effortlessly across my back, then my shoulders and neck to my arms and hands as well as my head.



I would recommend it to anyone, in fact, it was probably one of the best birthday presents I have ever had!
